Prevention focus
Healthy Mother Healthy Baby
From April 2016 to March 2026, FARR has run a continuous programme in De Aar covering antenatal support, FASD prevention, immunisation and nutrition updates, a Legacy Dad's workshop, medical specialist genetic interviews, and community and school awareness campaigns.
Vulnerable child support
Dedicated outreach for children already affected by FASD — wraparound family support, school liaison and long-term follow-up.
